Five Reasons Why The West Country Games Are Surprisingly Fun

The West Country Games are a really fun day out, are a sure way of providing lots of laughter and they are perfect way to bond with old friends or new workers.

The west country games are a very popular choice for stag dos, but you don't necessarily need to know someone getting married to join in the fun. The West Country Games are an enjoyable and sometimes a physically challenging way to get to know old friends and new workers again.

There are five reasons why the West Country Games are surprisingly fun.

1. The challenges involved have a bit of everything to throw at you
There are sumo bouts in the super sized inflatable outfits, human skittles, welly wanging, inflatable pitchfork duels and more. The purpose of these games is fun, but obviously there is a certain, healthy amount of competition throw in too. Every challenge is sure to have a clear winner and there is also a good amount of team working thrown in too as everyone is involved in each activity.

2. You have the opportunity to dress up
Everyone loves wearing costumes don't they? Traditional and stereotypical farmer and farmyard animal costumes care provided.

3. You will laugh more than you thought was possible
Once you stop worrying about keeping your cool, getting dressed up, throwing stuff around and falling over on the huge inflatables, you actually start to realise that this is hilarious. It,s almost guaranteed that any doubts you had at the beginning will slowly melt away once you start laughing.

4. It's not only for stag dos
The games are set up for the stag and hen market, but the West Country Games also cater for the corporate awaydays, team building events, birthdays and many more. There is nothing like getting a group of people together and getting silly while bringing people closer together. Basically you can have fun, while teaching people about team work.

5. It is not only about the fun side
The games themselves were started in 2010. As well as all the fun, the farm hosts a restaurant serving local produce and a farm shop selling the local produce. They not only organise everything for you, but they also make sure it is all photographed too.
