Plan, Plan, Plan

Sounds obvious but ask the stag what kind of stag weekend he is looking for, a party central location like a stag party in Albufeira or something more civilised and mature like a stag weekend in Lisbon. How many people does he want to invite and what is the estimated cost per head.

Guestlist

It is better to invite good friends, those on the same level as you and the stag, leave out the work colleagues who he drinks with occasionally and definitely forget the acquaintances. By inviting your "close" mates you will ensure your weekend is everything the stag want it to be.

Cash, Cash, Cash

The activities you plan on your stag weekend will make or break the weekend. Why waste money on expensive activities when something simple like a surfing stag weekend or karting stag weekend will suffice.

Date

Decide on a date, the weekend should be close to the wedding date but not so close to create "problems", ideally 5 to 6 weeks before the big day is your best option.

Lisbon Unspoilt Stag Location

Usually the bars are small and during the summer months very hot, so again do what the locals do, head out with a drink in hand onto the picturesque cobbled streets. By now your Lisbon Stag Party should be a little merry and definitely happy, some will want to head home while other will be ready to hit the notorious Lisbon nightclubs. The most famous club in Lisbon is Lux where funky Lisbonites hang out, other popular clubs include Belem Bar and Cafe and Urban beach. The clubs in Lisbon can be very difficult to entry especially for large groups of guys but they are defiantly worth the effort. To increase your chances of entry head to the clubs around midnight or 1am and make sure you dress to impress, flips flops and board shorts are a no no!
